Harry and Bettye purchased this condominium while it was still under construction, moving in in 2002. They had been its only owners. After Bettye died, Harry moved in with Cindy and Dave but did not sell the condo. After his death, it became part of his estate, and we began the process of buying it in the summer of 2022. We moved to Kent in October and moved into the condominium in December 2022.

This development, the Lakes at Franklin Mills, includes condominiums, single family homes and three small lakes. Open park space comprises over 30% of the development with easy access to walking trails. The red circle on this map shows the location of our condo.
In the photos below, #893 is the tan unit on the left at the end of our cul-de-sac. The black car is parked in front of our garage. These units all open to the lake shore behind them.
All of these pictures were taken in the summer of 2022 before we moved in.
Below, looking into the condo from inside the front door. The kitchen and dining area are on the right, and the door to a guest bedroom and bath is on the left. Our piano now sits across from the hutch, where the small rocking chair is in the photo. Our living room sofa and chairs and our wall-mounted TV are up by the fireplace.
Below, looking back from the fireplace toward the front door. You can see the door to our primary bedroom in the photo on the left, and a look inside the bedroom on the right. The dresser and mirror belonged to Mike's grandmother. Harry made the chest of drawers. This bedroom also has its own bathroom and a walk-in closet.
Just off the kitchen dining area is a small screened-in porch that overlooks the lake. Below are a picture of that porch taken from the dining room and an exterior photo of the porch.
Two more photos from the main floor.
The "TV wall", between the guest bedroom door and the front left corner of the main room, and the desk that Harry put in the laundry room near the top of the stairs.

Downstairs there is a third bedroom and bath (belonging to our granddaughters when they visit) plus this large living room/den. There is also a work and storage space that was Harry's, and now Mike's, wood shop. On the left is the sliding door opening to a small patio on the lake.
This photo was taken from across the lake, looking back at our condo.
